The Mad Cats are not happy about this...
It seems the cyclsits via CTC have won right of access to restircted by-ways in the countryside.
(Wildy did post once on PH how upset she was when a cyclist rode over a wild flower in her beloved lakeland fells)
However, as with Fell walking and alpine walking - I woould hope that these cyclists obesrve the rules of rural safety.
If you intend to use these routes - wear approapriate clothing - as you can get caught out by bad weather fronts in the middle of nowhere..
Do your homework - some of these routes are not necessarily suitable for even the sturdiest of mountain bikes - and
make sure someone knows your intended route in case of accident or simply getting lost
