Andy Kirkland - sports scientist at the Canterbury Christ Church University is looking to recruit actively competing males - aged 18-45 years for a number of cycling research studies.

It's part of his Ph.D and he's tryng to establish why some riders are able to tolerate variations in power better than others and he wishes to apply his finding to pacing strategy in time trialling.

Volunteers will have to visit his lab fairly regualrly for a two month period - but the benefits to these riders would be immediate feedback and training intensity. Follow up research wil continue to monitor training and performance progression.

If anyone out there - member/browser/lurker is interested - full details on www.kirlandcycling.org.uk or call the guy via the University.
