Someone aught to invite him to sit in the chair of a racing sidecar outfit...

Sticking Clarkson in a sidecar wouldn't change his mind. He rode a Harley on his latest DVD and hated it.

Nope, he actually rode it ... for about 50 yards ... and it was an 883 Sportster ... and I think he then shot it.

And on that bombshell ...

I had the 883 Sportster for a little while, it wasn't great.

Nope. not a sportster fan. In the US they are known as Skirtsters because they are popular with the ladies. They are very top heavy. Not easy to ride at all.

The only true modern Harleys are the big twins. I rent when I am in the US. I have had chance to do good mileage on....

Road King (2000 miles, Sturgis 2004)
Electra glide (3500 miles, Coast to coast 2006)
Dyna Wide (400 miles, Mississippi run 2006)
Fat Boy (450, miles Pacific coast highway 2004 & 2005)
Heritage Softail (2000 miles, Sturgis 2003)
Duce (500, miles Tail of the dragon ride, North Carolina)

Out of them all my favorites are the Fat Boy and the Wide Glide.

It's rare to see the words "nice" and "New Holland" appearing in the same sentence...

On the recent Vietnam episode they all had to buy bikes and after the rain stops and Clarkson hits a few bends... Wait for it...

HE ADMITS HE'S LOVING IT!!! If it weren't for the rain he would have thought it fantastic but hey, that's why i like hot underseat exhausts whilst stopped at lights :D
