This is a warning to anyone out there who has the misfortune of driving into Swindon.

If you're coming into town, the railway bridge on Wootten Bassett Road (A3102), here is incorrectly signed as 15'0 and on the way out of town the sign is missing completely.

THIS BRIDGE IS 14'9".

Network Rail were informed over a week ago, and the local highways dept have also been informed, but its yet to be rectified.

Sixy - find the "REPORT " PLATE on the bridge, giving the line ID- and phone number and report it as being wrong -

I might just do that - I called Network Rail and I know someone else has called the local Highways Agency - you'd think they might display a bit of joined up thinking and just get the damn thing fixed... :roll:
