I disagree RE: LPG. Yes it is a fossil fuel, but it is a waste product.. it is a by product of petrol. At the moment supply far outweighs demand, so as a result you see refineries all over the country burning the stuff off ... total waste.

Surely as many as possible should be encouraged to use this fuel, rather than it just being burnt off.

Not according to the government, who are putting the tax on it up. Bearing in mind the costs involved in converting, this can only put people off using the fuel en masse.
