No, it doesn't apply to WVM at all... :roll:

There are loads of vans these days with a GVW above 3.5t. Most manufacturers have versions that can be "re-plated" to at least 3.8 tonnes and some (I think the big Ivecos) getting towards 4.6 tonnes. I agree that many WVM won't necessarily want vehicles that heavy but they certainly exist.

Since WVM is already restricted to 50 in a 60 NSL and 60 on a dual carriageway, I fail to see what benefit he/she would have anyway.
