need some advice. i am in all probability am over reacting but still some advice needed.

was driving into a council office yesterday through the access road. a lady was crossing the road. i slowed to let her pass. she stopped when she saw me coming. i drove past her.i am 99% sure i passed her with safe distance between my car and her, but am worried about that 1 % whether my car had contact with her or not. there was no commotion, nothing out of the ordinary when i drove past that i can recall.

what do i do? and by the way my speed would have been around 10mph and i was not drunk.

i did not stop then cause i did not believe there was any contact.

If you think you may have inadvertently clipped her, you should report the incident to your local police immediately. The law states that where you have caused damage to another’s property, or caused injury, you must stop (if possible) and exchange details (Sec 170 RTA) where injury is involved, the police always attend.
However stopping is not always possible, so you have 24 hrs after the incident to report it.
Now in reality if you thought you may have hit her you really should have stopped. Report the matter, and your local police will tell you if anything was reported, and go from there.
