Can you clear something up for me?

In the above article you appear to contradict yourself vis-a-vis:

"Firstly, it is well known that faster roads are safer (TRL511 confirms this)."

"TRL323 says no such thing. TRL421 and TRL511 are flawed beyond redemption."

If TRL511 is flawed beyond redemption then how can it confirm faster roads are safer?

You begin the article saying that TRL "...deliberately attempt to distort and misrepresent the clear and accurate record made by TRL323. We find it quite sickening." Do you find your own distortion sickening?

Hello tyler, fancy finding you here. This is you, isn't it? http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/bb/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=158. Thanks for showing an interest in our little island, it must be so much duller than New Jersey.

I expect Paul will elucidate when he's back from his travels, but in the meantime, pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the friendly banter that we all enjoy so much.

Oh, and BTW, Cllr Tyrrell got deselected because he cocked up big time. That bus lane farrago was only one example of incompetence.

Er no.

TD is Brad Pitts character in Fight Club - it tends to be very popular around the world's messageboards.

I'm just interested in how a report can be both flawed - when opposing you - and right - when agreeing with you.

I think the apparent paradox stems from the fact that TRL511 is based upon facts, but draws distorted conclusions from them by then applying flawed logic.

In other words, it is reliable in terms of the raw data it contains, but not in terms of its misleading headline conclusions.
