How would this law stand if you were sleeping in the back of a motorhome?

i seem to recall there is some precedent on that one too, i guess on a recognised campsite you're ok but by the roadside some recomend ensuring you put a stoplock on... or have some way of disabling the vehicle to show it was not your intent to drive in the near future.

I still regularly see people driving with one hand on the wheel, the other pressing a mobile to the ear. Mostly women driving 4x4s for some reason.

Me too. Never seen one of them crash (or cause a crash) though...

I have a friend who runs a business and for some reason he invited some sort of freelance health and safety bloke in to offer some suggestions.
Anyway to cut a long story short they didn't take to this bloke so he shown the door but not before he gave some advice on how using handfree kits in cars was illegal including bluetooth.
My mate is unsure now so does anyone know of a nice link to something that will reassure him the bloke was talking rubbish?
Cheers!

You decide:

Hands-free is ok, but if you have to even press a key to answer, it will be illegal.

Only if it is in your hand when you do so.

If it is in a cradle (or Velcro'd to the dash) then it ceases to be 'hand held'.
