You have to hand it to safety man for extending the posts on this site.

If he had not put his pennys worth in, I would have had only one reply.

Most entertaining.
Nah, not really - it's a bit like shooting fish in a barrel...

Oh, :welcome: by the way. Stick around - I'm sure you'll get more replies :)

I think safetyman might be happier if road atlases were banned - they all seem to include speed camera locations these days.

:scratchchin:

Actually, I think you'll find that they're devices to help people abide by the law...

- which is perhaps why people like safetyman want them banned, so that more drivers can be caught and fined.

Well here's an ad for a device that doesn't just detect police laser emissions, it jams them! I would not have thought this was legal even before any change in the law. But here it is, being sold openly.

Check this link - http://www.radar-detectors.co.uk/laser_ ... ce=newsoct

Legal to own, illegal to use for the purposes of avoiding the police laser guns.

Use it too much and you'll get a nice knock on your door, and be arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, and your car impounded as evidence, if reports I've read here in the past are truthful.
