Hyabusa 0 to 60 in 3.15,

You should check out the Ghostrider 2 (499 BHP Hyabusa), and yes, it is street legal

The dax is the fastest recorded UK road legal car!

Steve Green's MK1 Cortina is faster than that, and yes, that is street legal too (162 mph in 8.2 secs from a standing start).

So top end of your £2,500 machine :?:

Haven't the foggiest, the speedo stops at 85mph (US import), but it's certainly fast enough to ensure you remain focused at all times.

btw, what vehicle or bike do you have!

Suzuki GSX 1100.....

Bored out to 1170
38mm Mikuni flatslides fitted with K&N's
Stage 2 head
High lift cams
Oversize valves
Pinned & welded crank
Billet lock up clutch
Vance & Hines exhaust
etc, etc

All engine mods by Pip Higham of Manchester

0 to 100 was achieved in 7.62 sec

That's moderately impressive for a car, but my bike was doing half as much again in only 1.4 seconds more from a standing start.

Check out dax for their latest vehicle, Hyabusa Turbo engine, with a conservative 777bhp per tonne. It is a stunner :!:

777BHP per tonne??

I suppose that figure is rather conservative when you consider that the Ghostrider Hyabusa is pumping out 499 BHP at the back wheel in a bike that weighs less than half of what the Dax weighs

I have a video of the Ghostrider Hyabusa overtaking a Honda Blackbird at nigh on 200 mph, doing it on the back wheel in the pouring rain and disappearing from camera view in around 4 seconds.

If you want to see it, let me know and I'll post a link.

Engine is producing 350 BHP, so not that heavy.

Stunning performance from a 1300cc, please post the link, sounds like a must see.

I am considering building a Busa Rush, would like to know what they have done to the Busa lump to achieve that BHP.

The point i was trying to make, the vehicle in this thread is over priced for the performance achieved?

It may be fast in terms of production cars, i am sure their are alot of modified cars, that would leave it in the dust and the owner would still have alot of money in his back pocket.

Why should the content (which is no worse than page 3 material) of the main site that is hosting the zip file bother you??

If the content of the site that is actually doing the hosting offends you that much, why did you bother to "backtrack" on the URL to start with?

The zip file I provided the link to is the Suzuki Hyabusa that has been discussed thus far. If there is anything you don't like about the content of the site that is hosting the zip file, then the answer is quite simple....

Don't backtrack on the URL and look at it!

That is fair enough, but clicking on the link doesn't display the contents of the main site, it merely bring up a dialogue box asking if you wish to save or open the zip file I placed there.

Erm, it does work.
You download the zip file and save it to your computer, you then "unzip" the file with a decompression utility (such as Winzip), and this will leave you with a 12MB .WMV file which plays in Windows Media Player.

While I do not approve of the open road stunts, those last couple of shots from a bike doing 280+ being passed like he was standing still by the Busa on one wheel was just amazing.

Man, that bike is something really special.

ps. link works fine.

If you want to see some of these cars doing 0 - 300km/h ( 300km/h = 186mph)....http://www.exvitermini.com/mrh9.htm
