Why is it? BBC News.. local press ..tabloids..

Tonight.. Southwark. 19 month old struck in his pram when a car went out of control and hit a tree. Three teenagers ran away. The car was stolen.

The baby in the pram died...

One suspect has been questioned by the police.

The baby becomes a KSI stat. All innocent drivers, bikers, cyclists and pedestrians feel they are blamed and victimised and placed at risk yet again.

And everyone will yet again make excuses for a thug.... who will receive a fine taken out of his social and a driving ban which he will ignore..

I confess I really do not know the answers here. Perhaps as a society we are reaping what we are sowing to some extent - and a pee cee culture is rather adding to the problem.

I do. Automatic death penalty for car thieves. We waste far too much time and money on these bastards.

Just in case anyone doesn't know

So will this be another of these 5% events where the driver causing the KSI is exceeding the speed limit – yet a speed camera would have done absolute nought because the car was stolen?

Or,

Will this be another KSI where the driver was within the speed limit, hence a speed camera would have done absolute nought anyway?

My thoughts go out to those touched by this tragedy.
