Just read about a Road Traffic Law, That If you Circle a roundabout more than THREE Times you can be arrested. What Is the reason behind it and the possible action taken against you? :readit:

Sounds like loitering to me. If a bunch of idiots did it in protest to something you'd want them pulled offf the raoundabout.

hmm- I do it if i'm not sure which exit to take. Even way back in the 60's , at college in Inverness(longlands near Tech college was our fav), me and a mate used to play sily sods after midnight by multi-circling ( never any traffic around )- never got pulled though . Police saw us and went other way.(probably thinking daft b****)

I was under the impression you can be done on a motorbike if you go round more than once.....might be wrong there though

Oops, I think I broke that law (if it exists) once while circling above the Dorset Way waiting for a friend who's motorbike had broken down AGAIN. :x

Yeah, but I can't get my knee down by the third attempt.

Did get my knee down on a motorcrosser the other week though - closely followed by my elbow then my head. Cracked rib   :hissyfit:

Sh*t!

You OK!?

(crosser tyres not quite the same as the tyres on the TL huh?)

I've never even tried to get a knee down - I recon the zorsts on the XS would hit down first!

Yeah - it was at the NEC show - yamaha motorcross schools had a try out set up out the back in the woods. My mate was insistent we have a go, so I said "OK, but I will fall off".....

So I had a go, and did fall off. Most insulting thing was I was only doing about 5mph when I fell off and cracked my rib. Bloody good fun though!

I can see the point in this law. with a sufficiently small roundabout, or with a few mates to help you out, you could quite easilly mount a denial-of-service attack on the road network by doing this.

Bonus points if you do it in drift cars ala the thread from a few days ago.

Out of interest, would causing such a denial of service attack using carefully chosen cars and routes be a legitimate form of protest against, say, congestion charges or malicious road planning (Kengestion)
