Hi Guys,
I started this website up with a housemate after he lost his license to this dramafest

Basically the tunnel had just opened and due to inadequate signage, in the span of two weeks over 10,000 people have been issued 'serious dangerous driving fines'. Most fines happened during the early morning (1:30am) and a marjority of drivers were actually driving 10-15km's (60/75km/hour) under the "normally imposed" 80km/hour.

Due to the variable signs being set at 40km/hour this makes it a serious driving offence ($590 fine and loss of license for 3 months)

Help spread the word.

Might be worth highlighting the precedent set in this country (we are your colonial rulers after all :D) that excess speed on its own does not automatically constitute dangerous driving.

Except in North Wales Robin, where breaking the speed limit is equated to stabbing someone. (ref. Brainstorm 2002)

I'd say they're way too far gone already, especially Victoria, but the SA roads authority actually published a report that confirmed the small number of accidents attributable to exceeding the limit. There is still hope!
