I've just been reading a Lancs County Council prohibition of traffic notice in last night's Lancs Evening Post.

Unfortunately the effectives dates are "Monday 1 October 2007 until Thursday 31 January 2007"

More likely to be the Council's typo than a printing error?

As this is a legal order issued under the RTRA Act 1984 I reckon it's invalid and they'll have to reissue it (if they even notice )

Just shows the need to check traffic notices if you are accused of a traffic offence

Lancashire Scammers also have a history of "pressing the wrong button" thereby making false accusations against innocent citizens

Could be an error on either side, I've seen some where one of my council colleagues has had some brain fade and some where the press people have put it in wrong too. D'ohs all round really.
