Hi there,

I was just driving in a 30mph zone and was doing around 35-40mph, a plice car was coming from the other direction and the passenger of the police car was holiding a camera. What are the chances of me getting a ticket for this? Or were they just checking I had insurnce etc

As far as I know, they can't scam you from a moving vehicle. The radar type speed cannons can't be used through glass either.

I should hope not. They've got too many toys already!

A year or two ago I was pressing on a bit on a nice NSL type SC - you know the sort of thing, derestricted etc. - and the third of three oncoming cars turned out to be a Traffic car.

I was comfortably into instant ban terrritory, so I was a bit anxious for a little while, but nobody bothered to raise the subject with me, so that was OK.
