Oh and House.. we shop at Tesco. My wife buys the "value stuff". We find it OK.

My wife haunts the "reduced for quick sale" and usually asks for more reduction after being trained to do so by the Wild :neko: Cat :rotfl:

She came home last night with fish. .. cod /plaice/mackerel fillets from the fresh fish counter . reduced from a fiver to just 70p

Our freezer's well stocked now

Yep ., Tesco takes over the world but we haunt the bargain counters  which gives us much satisfaction over points scored to my wallet and her purse  :drink2:

By the way ., my avatar was free. I found the photo!

Wildy's? One her pet cats . taken by herself ,,, and chosen because its fur happens to like her own auburn colouring

Ted? He bought his  on the basis it reflected his fun personality

Completely OT but...

Speaking as someone who is skint lately - Lidl, Adli & Iceland!

Trust me!!!

Lidl, Adli & Iceland!!!

I first discovered them when I was with my dear friend many years ago, (Yvette with Asperger's), where before I would think nothing of paying twice as much for basic goods thinking I was getting value for money. Well if they, Te$o$, $ainsbury$ etc. advertise on telly they must be the best eh?

You don’t know just how much you are getting ripped off subscribing to the big players as their pecuniary power and might dominate the media!

Seriously – take a look sometime and forward your savings to me via paypal :D

I always buy at the "reduced" counters - and it has to be seriously reduced. It always amuses me that they can sell for 20 p something they demanded well over a quid for earlier in the day

We also use Aldi/Lidl/Nettoa and ye olde worlde market - at closing time when they all bellow out the reduced prices! Tis almost in harmony like the choir! :hehe:

I bet your wife wouldn't be too impressed if you bought her this though

And on the topic of the off-topic topic ( :P  ), we mainly use Tesco too at the moment, but I think they're getting a bit complacent and expensive these days. In the little village we live in we've just had a Morrisons built, which I find is a little cheaper than Tesco, and they're just in the process of building an Aldi too, so looking forward to trying that! :)

Jeez, blokes discussing supermarket preferences ..... whatever next!?
