Is it the case that speed cameras mobile or fixed can only be placed within a certain distance of signs that say 'speed cameras'?

If so, does this mean from the side of the road the sign was pointing? As you cant see the signs from the back unless theyre double printed.

Not any more (although this was never mandatory anyway, merely a requirement for netting off under the old system).

True. The little :camera: and blue "police -speed watch zone" usually mean that the area is being watched :yikes: anyway.
