i was going down a road and the speed limit was 30mph BUT the camera was on the other side of the road so not in my direction facing the traffic on the other side but as i was going past it, it flashed twice and i was wondering am i going to recieve a nip through my post, its fair to say i was doing 45-50mon my speedo but they over-read so probably i was doing 40-45, i just want to know what you people think??

ps the road had 2 lanes, soit was a typical road layout

What sort of camera was it and was it facing toward you from the other side of the road or rear facing to the oncoming traffic - if you see what I mean ... was it a gatso (yel grey) or truvelo (yel/blue) ?
Where there any cars in front or behind you ?
Was the oncoming traffic moving at about the same rate ? Were there any lorries or large signs in that area ?
Were the speed limit signs valid ?

i was the fronT of the camera ie the lens and the flash not the back and it was a GATSO not a Truvelio and there was no other traffic as it was late

also the camera could point in both directions ie there were lines on both lanes but if the police were really clever couldnt they use the lines on the other side and prosecute me or is that illegal?
