82 in a 40 is bad news, made worse by the driver getting 6 points reduced to 3. That would be a ban for us mere mortals, but the chief was late for a meeting :cry:

Doesn't John Prescot's driver do this kind of thing in bus lanes?

I suspect that the Drivers mitigating circumstance was a direct order from a superior, hence the investigation of the senior passenger, rather than a straight forward reprimand for not speaking up!
