Well said that man!
Of course it's all political, anyone with a brain could see that from the very beginning. It costs money to really address road ssafety, but to 'look' as though something is being done costs very little, especially when it's dressed up in spin, lies and obfuscation. It's an added bonus that it makes a profit for the gov't.
The Camera Pratnerships are unaccountable, unnecessary and unwanted, but they create employment (i.e. salaries) for their lickspittles who will say 'black is white' if it protects their 'nice little earners', and who could blame them, since they are clearly people without any basic honesty or morality and very little common sense.
However, they undoubtedly know the real score, but choose to keep quiet.
