I havn't seen a posting for this, so I'm guessing you folks have not heard about it. My father (is Daddy spelt farther or father?

) works along the A5 (Edgware road) and some stretches have long bus lanes and plenty of small entrances, and he told me about this guy (is the caretaker for the shop where my Dad works)
The particular sretch in subject is outside the D&A Opticians and heading south down the A5. There's a sign for the Opticians quite a while before the immediate entrance, but directly after the sign is the entrance to another seperate car park for a high-rise building. There are no high walls to distinguish which side is D&As' and which belongs to the high-rise, it's virtually flat ground so it appears 2D to the naked eye, and the buildings themselves are burried deep inwards away from the pavements (big car parks infront) and hard to identify individual entrances. I've driven down it before, and feel very lucky after hearing what happened to this fella-
The guy was driving his car and ticketed while looking for the Optician, because he got into the bus lane at the Optician sign (apparently too early), realised the entrance directly after the sign was for elsewhere, continued on down the Bus lane for another 10-15 yards to the actual Opticians entrance, and got clocked by a bus lane camera...
Now I feel very lucky, because I once made the same mistake but actually turned into the wrong one anyway, then came back out...
I certainly hope he appealed against it, I sure would have!
Hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend
