I used to check the Leicestershire Constabulary web site where they used to publish road death statistics month by month with a comparison with last year. It did not look good for 05, 04 was up on 03 as well.

Anyhow they have overhauled the web site ond the data has gone... :o

http://www.leics.police.uk/safety_road.asp

There is not nothing that I can find on traffic policing at all.

anybody know whats going on? Is it a case of hiding bad news.. :?

It's definitely moved. Google has a cached copy for now: Copy, there is no equivalent page listed in the site map, so either it is now on another site, or they have decided that it shouldn't be published. :x

I have sent an e-mail to Leicester County Council (Group Manager
Transport Policy and Programmes) asking for an explanation. I will keep you posted.

I'm not sure that the county council would be able to help with the police website?
