Has anyone here managed to get the 2003 KSI figures from Hertfordshire SCP? I'm in the middle of a somewhat one sided correspondence (ie I email, they ignore me...) with them regarding a glut of new cameras in and around Watford. I've asked for the 2003 figures as well as the data to support the new Gatsos, but haven't had much by way of a response.

Herts is by no means camera central, but recently they have put up 8 new Gatsos on a two mile stretch of the A412, including one within 20ft of a red light camera. Their website bangs on about "strict guidelines", but they don't seem able/prepared to tell me if these new cameras conform.

Does anyone here know how the SCPs interpret "a stretch of road"? Some of the new cameras are no more than 400 yards apart, and I want to find out if each camera must have x number of KSI within a set distance, or if there's a somewhat more liberal interpretation whereby if a set stretch of road has the required statistics, then they can stick up as many cameras as they see fit.

Given the proximity of these cameras, I simply can't believe the guidelines are on a "per site" basis. The road would have to be death central to warrant the swarm they've erected.
