A driver who ran over and killed a three-year old toddler in a car park at Gatwick Airport has been found guilty of careless driving. He was fined £700, ordered to pay £365 in costs and banned from driving for a year. He told the court he was not used to driving his wife's automatic car.
A 92 year old man died when the car he was driving hit a train on an unmanned crossing in North Yorkshire.
A police driving instructor was banned for speeding at 112mph on the M1. He was a member of the South Yorkshire force and said he was in a rush to get his wife home from holiday so that she could have a good night's sleep before starting work.
