H ow about making police funding performance related - i.e. higher the clean up rate for thefts from/of vehicles -/from houses - more cash they get - of course some like this lot would end up owing the LA.

Trouble is doesn't mean they will actually stop thefts. We have all seen reports that say Mr. Toerag appeared in court charged with three counts of theft. He asked for two hundred other offences to be taken into consideration.

Solving the crime only means finding out who did it - not stopping the b:censored: s.

Good start - at present you get a broken window ,a police statement and sod all else .No sorry two weeks later a letter saying they can't get anywhere - .This way they might actualy put bodies on the street,and hopefully catch some in the act.
