On the A65 Leeds, near Leeds/Bradford airport there have recently been erected 7 speed cams, 5 of these are on a 1 mile stretch of road!
Is this legal ?

Why wouldn't it be?

They have similar forests of these in LanCASH£re. On Blackpool prom! Only problems have little to do with the drivers and plenty to do with the drunks, doped who stagger out of the pub, across the road, dodging the trams .... and ...

They have similar forests of Truvelos along A14 - and it just causes bunching and jamming at 60mph on the 70mph road along the stretch Pavlov Dog effects!

Smiley Sid flashing the speed limit and one, or pehaps two, scams if necessary would create the same effect of slow down! And would be darned site cheaper and less "threatening" for majority! On A14 and A65 - and Blackpool prom .... needs police presence! Except instead of plocing the prom - they went on their jollies to that Greek resort! To sort out the drunks over there!

Try the A5 through Cannock, known as speed camera alley. They start on the outskirts of Cannock(westbound), the first one being partially hidden by foliage and the clutter of other road signs and furniture, then they just appear with monotonous regularity.
