I today attended Marylebone Magistrates Court, to hear the case against me relating to an unsigned NIP which I had sent back to the Met Police last year.
The form was filled in for me by a colleague so is not in my handwriting, but it was sent back within the 28 day period.
Although my alleged incident occurred just after the Dwight Yorke case ast year which is identical in every way the court are choosing to persue a prosecution but adjourned the case to the 9th June.
I made it very clear to the magistrates that I was disappointed in the time wasting that the DPP are employing, that I have my case prepared and didn't believe that there is any need to adjourn, espicially if it is simply that the DPP haven't prepared themselves.
I have another case on the 31st March at Hertford Magistrates Court.
Will report back following that hearing (which again, will probably be adjourned, although it has been twice already.)
