Signed.

I'll get PR out on this - does anyone know the petitioner? 'A Blanchard'?

I've also issued a PR on it:

PR478: Remove Brunstrom Petition

news: for immediate release

The 10 Downing Street petition web site has published a petition to remove
Chief Constable Richard Brunstrom from Office.

This follows the monumental blunder of showing journalists pictures of a
decapitated biker without the permission of the dead biker's family.

See: http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/RichardBrunstrom

Paul Smith, founder of http://www.safespeed.org.uk, said: "Every day that
Brunstrom remains in his position is another day when the Gibney family suffer
pain and injustice. While this cannot be put right, Richard Brunstrom must take
responsibility and demonstrate true remorse by resigning. If he won't do that
he must be sacked."

"Brunstrom's monumental blunder must never be repeated - he must go and go
now."

"I urge all citizens of conscience to sign the petition."

<ends>

Don't just sign these petitions, folks, spread the word too.

North Wales Police Chief Richard Brunstrom, has gone too far this time in showing pictures of deceased persons without the express permission of the persons Next of Kin.

Agree with and signed

It's good with 1,764 and ranked 148th after 3 days 8 hours.

But the scrapcam one gained over 3,900 sigs in the first 3 days 8 hours, to be ranked 28th.

I expected the 'scrap Brunstrom' one to do better; after all who would argue against it?

I suspect a mention on Pistonheads when they're back at work tomorrow will make a substantial difference.
