One thing that seemed to come out of an interview from Claire (viewtopic.php?f=23&t=19021) was ideas about sending speeders on speed awareness courses .( What I think IG referrs to as "dis " courses )

Vary the idea slightly - get the country "DURHAMISED " and send those considered as "problem drivers " needing a bit more than a police size 9 to correct their driving on some of these ,and licence reduced to that of "new driver "

Problem - cost - and profit .

From other posts ,some SCP etc see these as a way of generating the cash lost from their failure to be able to recoup "operating costs " from revanue .

Idea thrown in - any PR would need to be carefully thought out ,lest the SCP say that SS supports profit from speeding .

I think that the standard that we test and train drivers is long overdue for an overhaul, however, it's likely that it will take a generation to have the effects filter through. However these courses could help bridge the gap.
