Hi all,

Has anyone got broadcast audio contacts? I need an ISDN audio codec for radio interviews. It connects via ISDN (which we have) to provide a good quality bi-directional audio connection for ar-better-than-telephone remote interviews.

Trouble is that such codecs are expensive and specialised kit. Often the retail is about £2,500. There's a software solution for £500 (Audio TX Communicator) but sources tell me that it can be very fussy about hardware and may well require a few hundred more spent on ISDN and Audio cards.

There's one on ebay right now, but the last one on ebay went for Euro 805 - still quite a price.

I'm not really sure what you need but could this be any help?

The quality you get will be higly dependant on your microphone and soundcard though.

That's not what I need, but pretty interesting nevertheless.

I think I'm sorted out with a codec. I did a deal earlier today (well, Sunday). Fingers crossed that it arrives and works.
