Wednesday's total was £459, bringing the appeal total to £14,095.

Donations are definitely slowing down, although the current rate is plenty 'good enough' to get the required result. The worry is that the slow down will continue and the target won't be achieved.

Spreading the word would be very helpful, if anyone has any ideas.

Have you got any car stickers, or mugs, posters, leaflets?

Might be an idea to leave out the 'SS' logo on them. People who are getting fed up with the ever growing Police State that we seem to be heading towards are your future members, and they might be subconciously put off by having to give money to an organistion with SS on their logo.

Just a thought.

Recent appeal contributions have been as follows:

Sunday 11th September: Nil
Monday 12th September: £50
Tuesday 13th September: £5
Wednesday 14th September: £115
Thursday 15th September: £80
Friday 16th September: Nil
Saturday 17th September £160

Making the appeal total: £15,000 (exactly)

Obviously things have now slowed down a great deal. We still need to complete the £20,000. Any ideas (or second donations?) most welcome.

Paul,

I've already donated £40. If I donate another £40 what deal can you do for me on a membership?

Regards

Andrew

I'd be delighted to call that a 'Gold Membership Appeal special' (£80). Thanks very much.

The appeal has all but dried up with about £16,000 in total received. I've got a bit behind with the paperwork, but hope to catch up and publish an update tomorrow. (Sunday)

If anyone else whishes to top up to a higher level; membership, please let me know. I can be extremely flexible over this.

Please can we finish up the fund raising appeal?

The initial £15,000 came in very nicely, but now it's really crawling with about £60 a week coming in. The appeal total stands at £18,065. Having started looking for £20,000, it should be fairly easy to raise the last £2k.

It's getting rather embarrassing to have it stuck around with no movement.

If you haven't already contributed, please consider doing so. If you have already contributed, please consider a small further contribution.

I'm working flat out, as you will know. Please help me.

I agree, however remember there are links out there to that page. so replace the page with something meaningful

The £20,000 funding appeal was completed at 2pm yesterday (Friday 10th February).

Many many thanks to everyone who contributed.

Safe Speed finances are back to 'the usual struggle' with the £20,000 effectively funding the campaign through 2005.
