Please correct me if I am wrong. I believe that when Speed Cameras were introduced in Canada there was such a public outcry that they were taken away. If this is right, does anyone know exactly how they achieved this? Could we not follow in their footsteps and make our roads camera-free and safer?

That did happen in British Columbia. It was a pre-election promise by an enlightened political party.

Trouble is we seem to be fresh out of enlightened political parties. (But I'm working on it.)
