Birmingham City Council has just opened up its forum based on the same platform as here:

http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/bb/

The City Council has recently gone hump crazy, and there are more 20mph zones springing up overnight. Let's let them know what we think - I shall certainly be participating.

I would just add that even if you don't live in or around Birmingham, being the largest district authority in the country does carry some weight with other councils, who follow its lead. Thus whatever influence can be brought to bear will be disproportionate nationwide.

I've started a board there (under the Journey to Work forum) about city council-inspired highway obstruction (humps, bus lanes, build-outs and the like). Please feel free to add your own choice examples of such stupidity.
