That's one of my favourite sites these days.
The fact that I'm also a grumpy old sod of pensionable age makes it extremely attractive to me, especially as I'm also a Rover driver.
Have a look in the 'Guest Book' on that site where one contributor nominates our Mary as 'W****r of the Week'.
The amount of ill-informed crap emanating from the Brake organisation is almost beyond belief. Does the application of logic never occur to them, or is it that it would simply damage minds already made up and muddled. The old adage of 'Don't bother me with the facts when I've already made up my mind' has never been more appropriate than it is with that lot of well-intentioned fools.
If only they were really interested in road safety they might achieve something, but, oh no, all they want is to promulgate more 'spin' and obfuscation. Very sad really.

The GOS has been in my favourites for a long time, I'm a long time admirerer of his and his website.

A HUGE amount of common sense is spoken on there.

Park your car in the street, exceed the speed limit, smoke a cigarette in the wrong place, put the wrong sort of rubbish in the wrong sort of bin or forget your tax return and you're a social pariah to be pursued with the full might of the law

Many a true word oft said in jest :o
