Pologies if this has been memtioned elsewhere -but better twice than none (IMHO).

News item today on Saga 105.7 @ 12 ---specifically mentioned 1.2£M for midlands roads out of a budget of something else .BUT (and in capitals as it struck me as a big but) - a "high percentage " of this would be spent on "safety " ---bumps & humps /cameras or genuine road safety improvements - didn't say .
