I went to a Sunday market today. The first time in ages.

It was great. It was like entering a parallel universe where the laws of the land just do not exist.

Samurai swords, fake designer gear, drug related merchendise.

I bought a new number plate for the bike. Slightly smaller than legal but cost me ten quid and no questions asked. No ID or registration documents required. It came with a sticker saying not legal for road use (easily removed).

It was an intersting experience.

They knew they could trust you - it was your honest face!!
As for the designer gear - you obviously knew it was fake, but were they trying to sell it as real?

Can I just ask why you deliberately bought an illegal numberplate? Not having a go, or anything but I don't understand what you gain out of it (exhausts, etc.. I can understand)

Its a chopper thing

I am building a custom bike and want to fit a side mounted plate. The stock UK plate is stupidly big for a motorcycle (most other countries have smaller plates). I got on one inch smaller all round. Looks almost stock till you put it next to a standard one. I just need to figure out how to get a neat looking number plate light on it.
