Driver at 3 times limit received a suspended jail term.. ban of three years and community service by Bolton mags - per the Bolton News today.

He was aged 22 years.. was spotted by police "driving dangerously ,, but NOT SPEEDING!"

He had already been disqualified for driving whilst over the limit.. in Nov 2006. :yikes: Errr.. somehow I think I will be reading that Mr A Maheb has been copped again .. :banghead: Why are they not helping and educating this guy? :banghead:

:censored:

He is from Iraq .. does not speak our lingo.. required interpreter..

(umm .. I thought booze for his faith was a :nono: Hmmmm)

But again.. no insurance.. no licence to drive here.. boozing away... and his costs.. just £43.... picked up by tax payer as he's on benefits.. :banghead:

Not being racist.. but practical here. Live here.. live by our rules.. drive by our standards .. as a cultured society ...

How about deporting this bloke back to Iraq..as "not the sort we want here" if we are to be serious about road safety campaigns.. but then. the fuss is really about law abiding Brits paying up .. whilst this type raise that "Stinkfinger" as the Swiss call it to our society :censored: and its safety.

:gatso2: Off the hook is he? Bad move. I bet he'll go out and get soused again and this time he'll kill someone while at the wheel of a car.

Drink-drivers deserve nothing but contempt.

That would probably infringe his Human Rights...cannot send him back to Iraq as it might be a bit dangerous for him. Its OK for him to create a danger to the British Public though - what about our Human Rights

(it's a don't even get me started moment)

I dunno. I know you were being tongue-in-cheek, but it got me thinking...

Having invaded the country, and still having an active role in its reform, can we really allow a defence to deportion on the grounds that he would be subject to persecution, torture or whatever. If that would happen, then we should be doing something about it with the Iraqi authorities over there.

How about, you can't deport me because I'd be poor.....
