Know what a speed detection device looks like -the one which enforces, but what's this new one - which detects "inappropriate " speed --and educates motorists??

Or is this more output from the rear orifice of the male cow to make the public think that all is well on the road safety front

Note how he tries to absolve the Warwickshire drivers of any guilt.

"Inappropriate speed accounts for the majority of collissions on Warwicshire's road" IS THIS TRUE or is John Timmis being economical with the truth ?

Missed asking if anyone else had seen articles like this in any of the local papers -and how they quoted on it -what caught my eye was the ref to speeding motorists and then the bit about inappropriate speed, and the almost insinuation that both were the same.

Its almost certainly going to be driver error first of which choosing an inappropriate speed will make up probably 20-30%. However, I suspect 2nd from driver error will be unfit drivers - eye sight, drink, drugs etc.

Its so annoying that the authorities try to represent inappropriate speed as speeding. May be there is new idea of defining inappropriate speed as speed above the limit?

That was my point , or can't they tell the difference. As well as asking that since it seems to have been a UK wide monitoring scheme - anyone else seen anything like it in their locals?

Of course Inappropriate speed accounts for collision as the appropriate speed would have been one that avoided the collision, after all if you run into a stationary vehicle or can't brake in time to avoid a hazard then its obvious you where going too fast

Strangely enough , i haven'#t seen any output from our smilie camera lot on this - perhaps they've taken the CI to hospital for surgery to his foot.
