Hiya--new to the forum and seeking some much needed advice.
I was flashed by the same camera on two separate days but I'm pretty sure (like 90ish%) that i was under the speed limit.

I'm worried beyond belief at the moment as I've only had my license for 6months.

Its the a406s going from ilford to beckton, if that helps. I would appreciate any help in how to proceed if i should receive any mail from you know who.

kawsar

Go to http://www.pepipoo.com.

Check out the forums for info.

If you do not receive a NIP within 2 weeks of the flash, provided it is not a new car to you or you are not the register keeper or you have have moved house, you should be in the clear. Pepipoo has info on the "14 day rule" and much much more besides.

Wait the 2 weeks the see what happens.

There's a camera on the M4 into London which regularly goes on the blink and flashes at speeds well below the 40mph limit. Sometimes they malfunction....if you're sure that you were below the limit, or, at worst driving at a speed lower than the speed limit plus 10% + 2mph, you probably shouldn't worry too much.

The NIP must be sent to you within 14 days of the offence - so at least you should know for sure fairly quickly.

Just to clarify. The First NIP must be delivered to the RK within 14 days of the alleged offense.

Just to clarify the clarification...
Quote:
A notice sent by post must be dispatched so that it would reach the driver within the 14 days within the ordinary course of the post. If this is the case then it will have been deemed to have been served even if it is delivered outside the 14 day period.
