Just to amazing to not post:

A Japanese motorcyclist failed to notice his right leg had been severed below the knee in a collision with a motorway central reservation, and he travelled a further 2km before spotting he'd left something behind at the scene, the Guardian reports.

Company worker Kazuo Osada, 54, was on a jaunt with 10 other bikers yesterday when he failed to negotiate a bend. However, he was "unaware his right leg had been severed below the knee apparently because his attention was focused on the strong pain he felt from the crash", according to police.

He clocked his loss when he subsequently arrived at a junction, and a fellow biker obligingly popped back to pick up the missing limb. Mainichi reports he was whisked to hospital, but whether surgeons were able to reattach the leg remains unclear. ®

Do you think they closed the motorway for 24 hours to investigate?

I think theres just a bit of a difference between a drive by and a genuine accident

I know what you are saying though, closing the motorway for all that time was a bit much...especially as nobody is going to help them with their enquires.

There were plenty of police getting a bit of overtime to walk 10 miles of motorway

:nono:

Now now. We know from certain court officials that we're never allowed to question the workings of the authorities, because we don't know what we're talking about, and the authorities always do everything for entirely the right reasons.

On the news tonight, a senior policeman said they had found some useful evidence from the search of the "crime scene". I must admit, I fail to see what can be gleaned from a motorway which had been traversed by thousands of cars after the shooting. The shooter was, after all, in a moving car which proceeded on up the road. A cartridge case, perhaps?

It's standard bullshit propaganda Malcolm, issued for no other reason than to try & convince "Joe Public" that the police are really in control when it comes to certain gangs.

Truth of the matter is this.....

They already know who was responsible
They will never prove it (unless someonbe has been really careless with physical evidence).
Nobody will ever talk

If only they'd put as much effort, time and manpower into non-road related murders! :x

Much as I think the plod are useless twats, I'm sure they do put the same amount of effort in when murder is afoot....the only difference here is that it got more airtime because of who was involved.

That's a terrible thing to say!

:rotfl:

At least the bike didn't cost him an arm as well as a leg.

Here we go...

I bet he was hoping mad

I wonder what else was afoot?

Did someone toe him back or was he just told to shoe off?

I bet he got the boot from work after that?

I'm sure heel be riding again soon.

Phew...

PS.

Did I tell you my wife's got five legs?
Her knickers fit like a glove.

You will be branded a threat to society by going over a speed limit where it is safe to do so, and suffer the consequences of your actions in a way criminals do not, more so than someone who is a real threat to our society.

...and then there was the Earl of Uxbridge at Waterloo (the battle, not the station!):

When an artillery shot took his leg, one story goes that Wellington said "By God, Sir, you've lost your leg!", to which he replied "By God, Sir, so I have!"
