Seems very odd. One can only think that they've been instructed by the 'powers that be' to exclude "troublemakers". Or am I being paranoid?

Normally, I'd say yes. In the case of CSCP, anything's possible.

Answer - yes, I am bing paranoid. At least Ive just had the following from an email I fired off to Kevin Tea:

"We know what the problem is and are trying to address it. We are just waiting for the developer to get out of bed (!!) and hit the server with a lumphammer!

Kevin"

Yeah, same response here. Fair do's then, it's just gone screwy, these things happen - I must stop being so suspicious. :P

I wonder if they suffered a DoS attack from the worms that turned on here a while ago, but to a sufficiently bad extent that the system went into self-preservation :?:

Couldn't you at least fuel the conspiracy theories just a little bit?

Here's my suggestions:

- An LTI 20:20 interfered with the web server

- The website runs on the ticket processing machine and it blew up due to overloading

- They are moving to new offices and use wireless networking which couldn't work through all the gold leaf

It seems that huge swathes of the net cannot access these forums at the moment, and there is no rhyme or reason to it??!!

I'm able to read the forums from home but not at work.

Any explanation what is wrong??

Thanks

Yes I did manage to post earlier, and just viewed the forum again 5 min ago (didnt try to log in!)

Perhaps they've decided to restrict access to those of us born within the County of Cumbria???
