Just seen the article on BBC regarding the EU treaty and MP rebellion.

A quote I picked out which I think perfectly sums up labours (the senior members anyway) attitude towards anyone who wants to stand in their way...

Quote:
"In an interview on BBC One's Politics Show, Foreign Secretary David Miliband maintained the treaty did not need to be put to a public vote.

"The reform treaty is there for parliament to scrutinise and then to pass," he said. "

So - his view is that they are there to pass it regardless, brilliant. It, in my opinion, is very reflective of their view on those who oppose ID cards, DNA Database, Speed Cameras, Use of CCTV, Terrorist Detention extension. It's there for us to complain about - but it'll all get passed anyway!

This is the article im referring to

I watched the interview - Milliband was somewhere or other giving a speech.

The subject of the speech? - How "the people" wanted more power, and no longer wanted "the state" making decisions for them.

He failed to see the connection. W**ker comes to mind.

So, if they scrutinise it, find out it is a heap of steaming dung, and actually harmful to the interests of Britain, it would be the duty of our Parliament to pass the bloody thing, anyway?

What a useless lump D. Millibrand is! :x
