Try breaking it up into individual sentences. You wouldn't blurt that whole paragraph out in one breathe, stick a full stop in and start a new sentence with a capital letter wherever you would take a breath if you were speaking it rather than writing it.

However, you do appear to find yourself in an alarming number of situations where you think you may have been snapped by a camera or something. Has anything ever come of any of them after you've posted your story here?

A lot of yellow box junctions have been painted incorrectly.

There's some information here:
http://moneyboxjunction.wordpress.com/

And waay too much information in the Parking Tickets forum at PePiPoo:
http://forums.pepipoo.com/

But if you were turning right and were only blocked by oncoming traffic... is that not the time you are allowed to wait in a yellow box?

I always thought that if you were turning right you can enter a box junction. There is one on the washway rd in sale (manchester) which is within two feet of the white line so if you can`t enter you would en up sitting there for ages as the filter on the lights isn`t always on

As far as I am aware you are allowed to enter a "Yellow Box Jct" only if you are turning right and your exit is blocked by vehicles turning left (I would check the Highway Code) for clarification.

Normally on box junctions you are breaking the the law if you enter the box jct. when your exit is not clear (even if the lights are on green) except when turning right.

You (by law) must be able to exit the box "Completely" when you enter it so you mustn,t have part of your vehicle straddling the box when you exit the other side.

As for the prosecution notice they are normally sent out within 14 to 21 days.

The highway code has the law on a box junction wrong.
The offence involves both entering and stopping while your exit is blocked by other vehicles.
You can wait in the box if you are turning right and your exit is blocked by oncoming vehicles, that is vehicles on the same road as you coming the other way. If the road you wish tu turn in to is 'full' then entering and stopping in the box would be illegal.

To understand it all you would really need to read the law on it. About 5 times.

That's why she beeped you, she wanted you to move forward.

A bit impatient, I wouldn't normally beep somebody who did this myself, unless it meant we were never going to get to turn right I guess, a little toot though, not a beeeeeeeep.

There's a junction near me and many people don't go far enough forward when turning right as they obviously think they're not allowed to stop in the box junction, but if they don't only one car can turn right per green light phase.
