I was trying to work out who "HowSoonIsNow" was. Thought it might be you at first Peter, but now I don't think so. Perhaps he'll reveal himself here. Anyway, in replying to the previous sanctimonious comments, he said pretty much everything that I'd been shouting at the screen when reading them (and the main article, for example the blatant RTTM statistic). Saved me the bother! :)

Definitely not me - I'm too busy at work :o

As a deliberate policy I tend not to leave comments relating to newspaper articles and blogs as, compared with forum postings, they are essentially ephemeral and will be forgotten tomorrow.

Good to see he got in a reference to safe speed :lol: Might be worth concocting a general reply with an internet address in - then cut and paste when similar opportunities arise. It might increase the 'footfall' at Safespeed for very little effort.
