I'd like to see a Crown Vic v Evo driven by crims, failing that @ 16mpg a MKV Golf GTD 140 would be a good getaway car with a Crown Vic in pursuit, the little it loses in out right speed, it would claw back in agility and fuel range. One might not get enough booty in the boot mind, so two trips to the bank then
My Caprice Estate has already narrowly outperformed three 2003 Crown Victoria Interceptors on a gymkhana-type course. I made dealership-available modifications to the PCM (timing advanced with 93 Octane, higher redline), the intake, the brakes, the suspension, and the tires; I was competing against unmodded CV P71s (87 Octane), but then again, the youngest P71 had 100K miles, vs my 190K miles, so I'm happy

.
I also got slightly better fuel economy than any of the P71s. We all filled up at the same station before and after participating on the course, and when the tanks were full (we all ran the course four times), I had pumped almost a gallon of gasoline less than each of the P71s (we all pumped to five clicks).
I'm sure a Caprice 9C1 [saloon], which is lighter by 400lbs, mostly in the rump] in good condition would make mincemeat of a P71.
