this is particularly relevant with written comments as they lack the luxury of expression, body language and tone of voice so things are easily taken out of context when you read them. many a mistaken conflict has arisen due to these facts.

however, there are times when you someone says a phrase but the naughty little boy or girl in you hears something completely different. i saw a documentary or news story the other day and the interviewee was described as a 'former bush advisor'. does anyone else hear 'ex pubic hair stylist' or is it just me?

Earlier today I saw a headline refering to Madonnas fall from a horse which she blamed on news reporters.

Obviously the writer was subject to some sort of letter limit.

But the headline "Madonna blames Paps for fall" .....
