Anyone stupid enough to think that posting such a video on the internet is a good idea is probably too stupid to be allowed near a car anyway.

My first encounter with the police shortly after passing my driving test. "I don't mind you driving at 35 in a 30 limit but doing it for a mile with a police car behind you is pretty stupid" The a long lecture on proper use of rear view mirror and sent on my way with nothing worse than a red face and a determination to improve my observation. Proper policing :D

His forward observation & anticipation was a darn site better than the female police officer I followed down the A325 between Aldershot & Farnborough this afternoon.

She stuck rigidly to every speed limit going (braking quite hard at one point to scrub off 30mph when she saw the 40 lollipop), but I'd say that her distance of less than 2 car lengths between her & the van in front at 70mph was a darn site more dangerous than that kid in the video (save for the bit where he decides to steer with his knees of course).

Isn't that the same road which a certain police man was "testing the capabilities of his vehicle" on?

Yep I think he used the M54, which after about 10pm is usually pretty well deserted anyway. The other road that he was doing 80 plus on was once part of the A5 and NSL (70MPH in the seventies) too.
