ASA Ruling wrote:
Follow-on milk ads 'misleading'

A baby milk company has been criticised by the advertising watchdog for making misleading claims.

Nutricia, which trades as both Cow and Gate and Milupa, was told to remove adverts which claimed they could "support" the immune system.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled the magazine adverts were misleading and such claims should not be made without "robust" evidence.

The company said it accepted the ruling "in its entirety".

It seems to me that the claims made by most "Safety" Camera Partnerships fall into the same standard! Shouldn't we expect the SCP's to provide more "robust" evidence to support the claims they make regarding the reduction of accidents?
Think of the children!!

i always whinge when adverts mention 'doing your bit to combat climate change' or anything similiar to that. its false advertising for the simple fact that we can not beat nature!

you do not have to prove their claims are wrong. they have to prove their claim is right/substantiated.
If you challenged their claim and they failed to substantiate their claim they lose.
