That looks like Baiter, Poole? I thought it continued all the way to Turk's Lane, and there were some tall wooden signs warning of "bicycle speed limits" or some nonsense like that. I suspect that is for political purposes as the brick area looks like private land...
I always used to walk along the bit with pictures of bicycles as I didn't want to look like I was obeying the council.

I'm more worried about the drowning man.

You're probably right, but Baiter means nothing to me. Along the seashore from Poole Quay towards Lilliput, where the housing estate starts.

It's all a waste of our money though really. Poole council have put this bicycle crap everywhere. And it isn't only the paint warning you that bicycles might exist, there are signs warning you that you are about to encounter paint warning you that bicycles might exist. It is crazy, get rid of it all!

Not to mention the "death by cyclists" crossing.
